When in the course of a nation's history, it becomes necessary for its People to stand together and demand that their government deliver the Justice, Tranquility, and Welfare it long ago promised, answer for generations of broken faith, and serve not just the fortunes of the few but the good of all its People — then We the People must form a more perfect Union.
This is a citizen's proposal — not a party platform, not a candidate's pitch. It lays out one plan to get money out of politics, make every vote count the same, and rebuild the basics of American life: work that supports a family, healthcare that doesn't bankrupt one, a tax code that asks the same of wealth as it does of wages.
Every dollar figure is drawn from public, human-authored sources named in the document. Everything is verifyable. Even the math is included, for those interested in checking for themselves. That is the point.
